The opportunity

LMU and the LA Rams have an ongoing partnership, hosting an LMU Day at the Rams game each year. For the 2024 event on December 8, LMU was looking for creative giveaway ideas to provide a memorable experience for attendees and strengthen school spirit at the game.

The strategy

After presenting several ideas, scarves quickly stood out as the ideal choice. LMU had previously distributed scarves for Parent and Family Weekend, which received overwhelmingly positive feedback. Building on that success, they decided to create a special edition memorabilia scarf exclusively for LMU Day at the Rams game.

The solution

An alternate design was created to align with the event branding while maintaining the strong visual identity of LMU. The design was refined and approved within the event timeline, ensuring production and delivery met the game day deadline.

The outcome

Fans in the LMU section at the Rams game received their exclusive memorabilia scarves, adding to the excitement of the event. The scarves were a huge hit, with many attendees proudly sharing photos of themselves wearing them on social media—further amplifying LMU’s presence and engagement beyond the stadium.
