The complete story

How the program came together

  1. 01

    Opportunity

Transwestern's Talent Solutions lead wanted onboarding to make a stronger first impression across the company. New hires join throughout the year and across every location, so a one-time bulk shipment would not reach them at the right moment. Transwestern needed a customized kit that carried the company's brand and culture, and a delivery model that could reach each new team member as they started rather than requiring internal handling at each office.

  2. 02

    Strategy

Club Colors focused on speed of collaboration and on designing the kit and its logistics together. The team shared product samples and design concepts early so Transwestern could confidently choose items that fit the brand, then designed the kit as a single integrated piece — packaging, messaging, and contents reinforcing the same culture rather than a box of assorted items. Planning fulfillment cadence alongside the design kept the program scalable against a year-round hiring pace.

  3. 03

    Solution

Club Colors produced 400 fully custom new hire kits. Each includes a custom-branded kit box with messaging printed on three sides, premium branded items such as tumblers, pens, and notebooks, and a custom welcome note supplied by Transwestern. The kits are stored in-house at Club Colors and drop-shipped weekly to new hires as they join, so Transwestern's team does not store, assemble, or ship anything as hiring continues through the year.

  4. 04

    Outcome

The program has run continuously, with kits shipping weekly since May to keep pace with onboarding. Every new hire receives the same on-brand welcome regardless of location, and Transwestern's team places no per-shipment coordination against a year-round hiring pace. C-suite executives received kits as gifts and praised the initiative, and new hires have shared the kits on LinkedIn. The stock-and-hold model gives Transwestern a repeatable structure rather than a series of one-time orders.
